Dr. Faisal Hyder Shah, Syed is a Ph.D. in (Social Work) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Penang, Malaysia. Previously he has earned his Masters in Social Work from University of Sindh, Jamshoro Pakistan. He also did Bachelors of Law (LLB) from Sindh Law College, Hyderabad, Pakistan. In addition he has done a Diploma in Shariat Law from International Islamic University, Islamabad Pakistan. Dr. Faisal is a permanent faculty member and serves as an Associate Professor in Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Sindh, Jamshoro Pakistan. Having a substantial academic, teaching and training experience, Dr. Faisal has gained experience in the variety of fields, including community development, social mobilization, leadership and women empowerment. His areas of interest include but not limited to; research on indigenous methods in Community Orgnisation, Empowerment, Grounded theory in Social Sciences, Peace and Conflict studies and Human Rights.
