Assistant Professor, Department of Media and Communication Studies, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. I have earned a Ph.D (Communication) from Universiti Utara Malaysia and specialize in the areas of Digital Media, Online Journalism, Mobile Journalism, Mass Media, and Society and Media Literacy with considerable experience in research and academics. I have 18 years of teaching and research experience at different universities including the Sukkur IBA University, Pakistan, The Asian Institute of Cambodia, and currently at University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. In addition, I am HEC approved supervisor in the discipline of Social Sciences & Humanities and also supervising M.Phil and Ph.D scholars. I have published research articles in national and international research journals. Besides, remained the Head of the department Media and Communication, Sukkur IBA University, I managed all academic and administrative affairs of the dept. I, remained Centre incharge at various STS testing centers. In addition, I was a member of many statuaries bodies, like the Academic Council, Board of Studies, Selection Committee for recruitment on different positions, Member Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), and Member of the ORIC policy-making committee. In addition, I am Memeber BoS at SMIU and Indus University Karachi.
